Guemes Island:
Moderate Yellow bluffs at West end
Low land treed and open field in center
Tall rock bluffs from Deadman’s bay extending around Casperson Pt. and along the east shore.
Guemes Channel:
about 3 miles long and 0.5 mile wide at its narrowest point, depths of 8 to 18 fathoms. Lighted buoys mark the channel at the W end.

WA State inter-island ferry slips and terminal building
City of Seattle Rock:
covered 1.5 fathoms

Vessel moorage, drydock, marine railway
Guemes Island Ferry:
Small double ended auto ferry with docks on each side of channel
Anchor Cove Marina:
Wood pile breakwater, covered and open moorage
Trident Seafoods:
Two wharfs and blue cannery buildings
Port of Anacortes:
three deep-draft wharves (Curtis, Pier 1, & pier 2) cranes and marine railways at repair facilities, on the S shore of Guemes Channel. Commerce includes logs and petroleum products.
Dakota Creek Industries:
Medium size shipyard, drydock
Cap Sante Waterway:
dredged channel marked by daybeacons and lights (3) Marinas: Cap Sante Boat Haven, Fidalgo Marina, Anacortes Marina, 1100 combined berths
Fidalgo Bay:
a shallow arm of Padilla Bay, extends S from the E end of Guemes Channel.
March Point:
low peninsula between Fidalgo and Padilla Bays, two long Tesoro and Shell oil refinery piers, storage tanks and stacks
Padilla Bay:
between the mainland and the N part of Fidalgo Island, is largely occupied by drying flats
Swinomish Channel:
Casino, Large boat dry storage facility, and boat houses in cut off channel, 2 floats and launching ramp under the highway bridge,
