It affect the bodys organs particulally the lungs a digestive system.

What are some symptoms?
A
The mucus of this person it thicker than normal.
This then traps bacteria and causes infections.
The have breathing diffculties.
They are at risk of chest infections.

What are some treatments?
A
They have to go through daily physiotherapy.
Have to take antibiotics.
Inhalants sometimes even a lung transplant.
An enzyme pill to help with dygestion.

How many people are affected?
A
Over 7500 people in the uk are affected.
If you are born with it your dont have a normal life expectancy.
