A

Anything that you can use to keep yourself, your equipment, and your position from looking like what they really are. You can also use both natural and manmade materials for camouflage

What is cover?

A

Anything that gives protection from bullets, fragments of exploding rounds, flame, nuclear effects, and biological and chemical agents. Cover can also conceal you from enemy observation. Cover can be natural or manmade.

List the criteria for selecting a helicopter landing zone?

A

The ground chosen must support the safe landing of helicopters
-Stable, no slopes, no obstacles
Site should be identifiable from the air
Site can be secured without undue interference from enemy fires
Large enough for the appropriate size of aircraft: Day: 100 feet larger than main rotor,
Night: 150 feet larger than main rotor

What is concealment?

A

Anything that hides you from enemy observation. Concealment does not protect you from enemy fire.
