In the OR for hyperparathyroidism, the 10min PTH comes back slightly decreased or not decreased at all. Besides resending a PTH, what else needs to be done if not already done?
A
Do a complete 4 gland exploration.
Even if localized imaging doesn’t show anything on the other glands, explore them all.
