Are there general anchorages in the chartlet. How many small craft anchorages areas will be discussed?
There are no general anchorages but 5 small craft anchorages areas will be discussed throughout the San Juan Islands.
What are the Orcas Island anchorages?
Orcas island has 3 anchorages on the S side. EastSound and West Sound have depths of 7-12 fathoms. Deer harbor is 6-7 fathoms deep.
What are the Shaw island anchorages?
On the South side of Shaw island Indian Cove with 4-7 fathoms depth and Parks Bay on the West Side with 6-8 fathoms.
What are the Lopez island anchorages?
Fisherman Bay on he W side of Lopez is 3-4 fathoms and is well protected.
What are the San Juan island anchorages?
On the NW side of San Juan Island is Open Bay and Roche Harbor (4-9 Fthms), On the E side is Friday harbor (6-7 Fathoms), and North Bay (East side) (7-10 Fathoms).
