B. Neck
CERVICLE
The neck is the outer constricted portion of the body inferior to the head.
A. Head
SKULL
The head includes the brain and organs of sight
I. Cranium- 8 distinct bones of a human skull which fuses together to protect the brain.
II. Face - 14 bones which includes the the top of the head to the chin and excludes the ears
C. Trunk
TORSO
The trunk is the part of the body not including the head, neck, upper & lower extremities
I. - Thorax (Thoracic Region) located superior (above) the diaphragm (the skeletal muscle below the rib cage) or thoracic region
II. - Abdomen (Abdominal Region) located inferior (below) to the diaphragm (the skeletal muscle below the rib cage)
III. - Pelvis (Pelvic Region) located inferior (below) within the boney region of the lower region
D. Upper Extremities
APPENDAGES
The upper extremities are the left and right arms
E. Lower Extremities
APPENDAGES
The lower extremities are the left and right legs
