Psychrometrics & Humidification Flashcards

1

A

A proportional amount of humidity contained in an air sample compared to the maximum amount that the air sample could hold. Need dry bulb temp to be useful. Always relative to a temperature.

Q

Why relative humidity?

A

Because it’s what we feel. We give up moisture through evaporation. 100RH causes fog/condensation
