First line therapy for urinary incontinence:

A

Stress UI:

  1. Pelvic Floor muscle training

Recommended against systemic pharmacologic treatment

Urge UI:

  1. Bladder training recommended
  2. Weight loss and exercise for obest women
  3. Pharmacologic treatment based on tolerability, adverse effect profile, ease of use, and cost IF bladder training unsuccessful.

Mixed UI:

  1. Pelvic floor muscle training recommended.
