A- look for signs of obstruction ? Struggling
Anything in mouth- clear with suction if so
Any sounds of stridor / wheeze
Use simple manoeuvres or adjuncts
High flow oxygen

B breathing

Answer 2

Attach stats probe
Look- work of breathing, accessory muscles
RR (normal is 12-20) assess patter of breathing, deep/ shallow kussmauls.
Is expansion equal? Tracheal location
Percussion
Any deformity? Drains or surgery?
Auscultation

Give high flow oxygen, if at risk of hypercapnic Resp arrest aim 88-92%

C- circulation

Answer 3

Look, are they cyanosed?
Feel hands ? Clammy / temp, cap refil time (5 seconds cap bed and refil should be <2 s)
Feel pulse - rhythm, rate and strength 
Look at JVP, ? Dilated neck veins 
Blood pressure
Listen to heart sounds ? Murmur

Cannula in, bloods out with ABG/ vbg
Give fluid bolus , consider vasopressors, inotropes

GCS
Eyes open to pain (2) voice (3) spontaneously (4)
Voice noises (2) words (3) confused (4) normal (5)
Motor extension to pain (2) flexion to pain (3) withdraw (4) localise (5) obey commands (6)

Glucose - if <4 then give 100ml 10% glucose and 1mg glucagon IM.
