Titania and Oberon who love eachother are having an argument over who should have the boy from India so he sends Puck to put some magic flower on her and Demetrius.

However, Puck puts the love potion on the wrong people and they end up fighting over who loves who, however, Puck resolves this and Demetrius loves Helena and Hermia loves Lysander.
