About Me Flashcards
(35 cards)
What are your greatest strengths?
My resilience and my empathy. My resilience is what lets me fully explore life because I am okay with failing and my empathy lets me learn from others by stepping in their shoes.
What Personal Development book has made the biggest impact on you and why.
The Last Lecture, is a memoir a cancer patient wrote talking about how to achieve dreams young. It inspired me to stop waiting for this or that to pursue what I want. I am enough right now and I should give everything a try.
What is the secret to success and how do you motivate yourself to achieve your goals.
I would say my secret is something my mom taught me. She always said this silly saying, “They can’t take away your birthday” it means no matter what happens, if you embarrass yourself if you were unprepared, you still are going to be you. Your life will move. With that mindset, I try things I thought were out of my reach. I kept moving forward.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
In five years, I will have my law degree working as a lobbyist for mental health rights and equality in public education. Maryland is where I will be calling home but working in DC on a federal level.

The secret would be that the makeup routine starts with your skincare. You want clear skin, invest in a good moisturizer with SPF. You are never too young to start that.

What are three words that describe you that start with your name
Silly on occasion, sincere in everything i say and do, and significant in this world just the way I am.
If you could stay any age forever what age would you choose and why?
I would choose not to stay at one age. I want to fully experience life and to do that we need to age. Aging seems scary but it is a beautiful thing that only the lucky get to experience.
Which of your accomplishments are you most proud of?
What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?
What are your three current priorities?
To be happy, engage in my community, and make a positive mark on the world, on a large or small scale.
What is something you have done that you are not proud of?
I still think about this all the time, I was in high school and I saw a girl wearing a cute outfit with heels. I stopped to tell her I liked her shoes and then immeadtily turned around and said not. When I look back, I was just jealous that I did not have the confidence to wear something like that. I make it a point to uplift women everyday instead of tearing them down because of my own insecurities.
What do you look for in a friend?
Do you consider yourself a feminist?
Yes, I support women choosing the life they want to live. Whether that being a stay-at-home mom taking care of her family or the CEO who does not want to be married or have children.
Other than your family who is your biggest supporter?
My friend from high school, Geoffrey. Even before I knew it he knew I was going to do something great. He never thought anything was too far-fetched or out of my reach.
If you could invite any three people to dinner who would it be?
It would be my mom, dad, and brother. They live in Arizona and haven’t seen them all in one place in over a year. I would give anything to have a family dinner again.
What is your biggest dream?
How are you different from other competitors?
Why are you here?
Well, Initially I applied to show the middle school kids that I mentor that they can work and accomplish hard things. Now that I am here today, I am proving it to not only them, but myself too.
Why do you want to win this title?
I want to win for two reasons, 1. I want to be a role model to others that you can work towards goals no matter what point in your life you are at. and 2. I want to use my title to expand my platform of POTS awareness, giving patients an easier way of diagnosis and recovering than the one my brother and I had.
