Quick or changeable in behavior.

In a nervous or worried way.
I anxiously waited in line for my report card.
Tension (noun)
Nervous, worried, or excited condition that makes relaxation impossible.
The tension between the two cliques were very high.
Subjunctive (noun)
A form of a verb that is used to express doubt or uncertainty.
Many writers use subjunctives in their writing.
Ack-ack (noun)
Slang for an anti-aircraft gun fire.
Ack-ack was one of the most terrifying sound I’ve ever heard.
Restraining (verb)
Holding back; controlling one’s emotions.
The court put a restraining order on that man.
Quarrels (noun)
Arguments; disagreements.
Children have many quarrels about insignificant objects.
Bickering (noun)
Arguing over unimportant things.
The argument resulted in loud bickering.
Menorah (noun)
A candleholder with nine candles, used during Hanukkah.
The Menorah is very heavy.
Shamos (noun)
A candle used to light the others in a Menorah.
The Shamos was the candle that lit the other candles in the Menorah.
Gestapo (noun)
Secret police force of Nazi Germany, known for its brutality.
The Gestapo were scary.
Hysterically (adjective)
In a way that shows uncontrolled emotion.
My joke made everyone laugh hysterically.
