A

The play opens with the three witches as they go about their daily lives. They talk about Macbeth and where to meet him - “Upon the heath…to meet Macbeth.” Shakespeare also presents the stereotypes of witches and witchcraft at the time by saying “Paddock calls…I come, Graymalkin.”
