Q

What does Angelos soliloquy reveal

A

the soliloquy exposes how fragile and false Angelo’s virtue really is. He has used the law to appear righteous, but inwardly, he is corrupt and easily tempted.
Shakespeare uses this to explore the theme of appearance vs. reality, and how power can corrupt even those who seem morally upright.
