- Monastic Dissolution 1536-41 - Religious texts, histories within Monastic libraries, lost or destroyed - Henry VIII.
- Cramner’s Book of Homilies 1547 - Forced Protestantism & English services on Wales.
- 1555 Act of Repeal - Brought Wales back to its traditional Roman Catholic roots.
- 1588 Welsh Bible - Elizabeth I has the Bible translated & allowed Welsh to survive, where other languages didn’t, Cornish.

A
- 1536 Act of Union - established Council of under control of Privy Council.
- Rowland Lee - President of the Council from 1534 & the changing of welsh names to more English ones.
- Wasn’t a major change becuase Wales had been under English control since Edward I.

- Changing inheritance laws - Change from all inherit equally to Primogeniture, destroyed Welsh traditions.
- 1530 to 1540 Inflation quadrupled - added to a loss in Monastic services, the peasants lost services, E.g. Healthcare. That they relied on.
- Act of Uniformity - Brought Wales in line with England in terms of Law & Order. This saw a reduction in crime as criminals couldn’t escape justice by going to another Marcher Lords territory.
