Qihu
Stomach 13
Qihu (English translation: Qi Door)
Location: On the chest, at the lower border of the middle of the clavicle, 4 cun lateral to the anterior median line.
Indications:
Cough and asthma
Pain and chest congestion
Functions:
Descends rebellious Qi and frees the chest.
Fengfu
Du 16
Fengfu (Wind Palace)
Location: On the back of the neck, 1.0 cun directly above the midpoint of the posterior hairline, directly below the external occipital protuberance, in the depression between m. trapezius of both sides.
Indications:
Post-apoplexy aphasia, hemiplegia, manic psychosis
Neck pain and rigidity, vertigo, sore throat
Functions:
Dispels Wind, calms the Shen, clears the head, benefits the head and neck.
Shugu
Urinary Bladder 65
Shugu (Restraining Bone)
Location: On the lateral aspect of the foot, posterior to the 5th metatarsophalangeal joint, at the junction of the red and white skin.
Indications:
Manic psychosis, headache, neck rigidity
Pain of the lumbar and leg, Anal pain
Functions:
Clears Heat, dispels Wind, relaxes the sinews, activates the meridian, alleviates pain.
Zhiyin
Urinary Bladder 67
Chinese Name: Zhiyin
(English translation: Reaching Yin)
Location: On the lateral side of the end of the small toe, .1 cun from the corner of the nail.
Classification: Jing-Well point of the Urinary Bladder Meridian
Indications:
Malposition of fetus, difficult labor
Headache, eye pain, nasal congestion, epistaxis
Functions:
Eliminates Wind, clears the head and eyes, turns the fetus and helps labor.
Dachangshu
Urinary Bladder 25
Dachangshu (Large Intestine Shu)
Location: On the back, 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the 4th lumbar vertebra.
Classification: Back-Shu point of the Large Intestine
Indications:
Abdominal distention, diarrhea, constipation, bleeding hemorrhoids, Lumbar pain, Urticaria
Functions: Regulates the large intestines, strengthens the low back, removes obstructions from the meridian.
Danshu
Urinary Bladder 19
Danshu (Gall Bladder Shu)
Location: On the back, 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the 10th thoracic vertebra.
Classification: Back-Shu point of the Gall Bladder
Indications:
Jaundice, bitter taste in mouth, pain in the hypochondrium
Pulmonary tuberculosis, hectic fever
Functions:
Regulates and strengthens Gall Bladder Qi, resolves Gall Bladder/Liver Damp-Heat, clears Shaoyang pathogens.
Dabao
Spleen 21
Dabao (Great Embracement)
Location: On the lateral aspect of the chest, on the mid-axillary line, in the 6th intercostal space.b
Classification: Major Luo-Connecting point of the Spleen Meridian
Indications:
General aching and weakness of the limbs
Asthma, pain in the chest and hypochondrium
Functions:
Moves Blood, regulates Qi, benefits the sinews and joints.
Yongquan
Kidney 1
Yongquan (Gushing Spring)
Location: On the sole, in the depression when the foot is in plantar flexion, approximately at the anterior third and the posterior two thirds of the line from the web between the 2nd and 3rd toes to the back of the heel.
Classification: Jing-Well point of the Kidney Meridian
Indications:
Loss of consciousness, headache, pain of the neck, dizziness, infantile convulsion, manic psychosis,
Nausea, vomiting
Swelling of the pharynx, dryness of the tongue, dysuria, constipation
Hot sensation in the sole
Functions:
Descends excess above, resuscitates, clears heat, calms the Shen, tonifies Yin, clears Empty-Heat.
Fengchi
Gall Bladder 20
Fengchi (Wind Pool)
Location: On the nape, below the occiput, at the level of DU 16, in the depression between the upper portion of m. sternocleidomastoideus and m. trapezius.
Classification: Crossing point of the Gall Bladder Meridian and the Yang Wei Vessel
Indications:
Common cold, nasal congestion, headache, redness, swelling and pain of the eye, rhinorrhea, epistaxis
Rigidity and pain of the neck, limitation of the shoulder
Dizziness, vertigo, hemiplegia, epilepsy
Functions: Dispels exterior and interior Wind, clears the head, benefits the eyes, nose and ears, subdues Liver Yang, activates the meridian, relieves pain.
Jingmen
Gall Bladder 25
Jingmen (Capital Gate)
Location: On the lateral side of the abdomen, 1.8 cun posterior to LIV 13, on the lower border of the free end of the 12th floating rib.
Classification: Front-Mu Point of the Kidney Meridian
Indications:
Dysuria, edema, lumbar pain
Pain in the hypochondrium, abdominal pain, diarrhea
Functions:
Opens the water passages, strengthens the low back.
Pangguanshu

Bladder shu
1.5 cun lateral to GV line, level with 2nd PSF.
Main point for all Bladder issues: from damp heat (painful a/or dark urination), from cold (frequent urination, incontinence).
For damp-heat anywhere in the body, combine with SP 9 to expel dampness through urination - diarrhea, constipation, sore back, infections and/or swellings in the lower warmer.
Sanjiaoshu

Location:
On the back, 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the 1st lumbar vertebra.
Classification:
Back-Shu point of the San Jiao
Indications:
Borborygmus, abdominal distension, vomiting, pain and stiffness of low back.
Edema.
Indigestion, diarrhea, dysentry, jaundice, visual dizziness, headache, enuresis, nephritis.
Neurasthenia, stomachache, spasms of the stomach, spasm of the stomach and intestine, patient thin without appetite, all digestive disoders, after catching a cold the patient presents with headache / vomiting /an irritating sensation in back and shoulder/spine is stiff / has diarrhea, large accumulations and gateherings in the lower abdomen, urinary retention, impotence, body fever, alternating fever and chills.
Functions:
Regulates and and moves the San Jiao, opens and regulates water passages, benefits urination, resolves Dampness.
Ganshu

Liver Shu
Location:
On the back, 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the 9th thoracic vertebra.
Classification:
Back-Shu point of the Liver
Indications:
Spitting blood, pain in ribs and sides, visual dizziness.
Psychosis.
Jaundice, epistaxis, red eyes, night blindness, epilepsy, back pain, gastric diseases, eye diseases, cough with rib/chest pain, painful masses in chest and abdomen.
Bitter taste in mouth, headache, cerebral hemorrhage, scrofula, insomnia, shortness of breath, sensation of fullness, diabetes, lower abdominal pain, irregular menstruation, genital disoders, lack of energy, Yang or Yin disease.
Functions:
Moves stagnant Liver Qi, regulates and nourishes Liver Blood, resolves Damp-Heat, benefits the eyes and sinews, dispels Wind.
