A

Jing well point/ metal point/ entry point

L: On the ulnar side of the ring finger (4th digit), approximately 0.1 cun posterior to the corner of the nailbed.

A: clears heat, restores consciousness, stops convulsions, benefits the ears, benefits the tongue, clears pericardium heat

A

Yang-source points:

L: At the wrist joint, in the depression on the radial side of the exterior digiti minimi tendon. Best found with the wrist and fingers in extension.

A: relieves pain, clears heat, harmonizes the stomach, promotes fluid transformation, benefots original Qi, benefits the ears, regulates shaoyang patterns

A

Luo-connecting point/confluent point of yang wei mai

L: 2 cun proximal to TW 4 between the radius and ulna, on the radial side of the exterior digitorum communis muscle.

A: expels wind heat, releases the exterior, benefits the ears, subdues liver yang, clears heat (in the head), opens the yang wei mai, relieves pain, and regulates shaoyang patterns
