Q

Addison Disease: Pharmacotherapy

A

Q

Pharmacotherapy: Important issues

A

Dosing mimics natural release of hormones
-timing is important
-doses are small

NEVER abruptly stop

Dose will need to be increased during stress
-3x3 rule

Always maintain emergency supply

Wear a medic alert bracelet
