Adjectives will match the gender and number with the noun they modify.
The feminine form of most adjectives ends in -e.
Christophe est français.
Christophe is French.
Caroline est française.

If a masculine adjective ends in -e, the feminine form is the same.

If an adjective ends in -é or any other vowel in the masculine, add an e
to form the feminine. This does not change the pronunciation of the word.
Il est désolé.

Sorne adjectives have an irregular feminine form.
