Rotation staffing Model
Medic 1, 2, 17, 21, 24 firefighter /paramedic that are not involved in the in-house rotation should be detailed to those units in a city-wide rotation.
Details to BLS transport units and BLS positions on medic units shall be staffed by
members from the company or companies where the units are assigned.
BLS vacancies occur on single role medic units will be filled utilizing.
Members on overtime unless staffing above minimum staffing levels exist.
Vacancies that exist shall be filled in the following order.
Technician/driving positions in suppression units, 1 BLS position an assigned transport unit, remaining positions on suppression units, remaining position on transport unit. Any personnel remaining after these vacancies have been filled will be detailed to fill suppression unit vacancies within the affected battalion.
In-House staffing model
Medics 3, 7, 8, 10, 19, 25, 27, 30, 31 shall be staffed with assigned FF/PM and FF/EMT’s using in-house staffing in a similar manner.
Whenever an ALS provider vacancy occur at these locations, the vacancy will be considered on the medic unit.
Details for FF/PM in the rotation staffing model will begin when.
platoon 1 works on Sunday and end when platoon 4 works on Saturday.
