Who is allowed to adopt?
Anyone can adopt but they must be over the age of 21, not smoke and have a spare bedroom.
What is adoption
Adoption is the process where a child who cannot be brought up withbtheir biological family become full, permanent and legal members of a new family.
What is the care system?
This is when i child or local authority decide its better for children to be away from their biological parents for a while, its known as living in care.
Why do children live in care?
Children are put into care for a bunch of different reasons. E.g forced marriage, abuse, family breakdow,neglect and also if parents were to be in hospital and unable to take care of the child temporarily
What is foster care?
Foster care is when a child goes to live with another family for a while because their biological family cant look after them. Foster care coulded be for a single weekend or for years.
