Adrenaline Action

A
  • Stimulates Alpha and Beta receptors
  • Alpha stimulation causes peripheral vasoconstriction which raises perfusion pressure of vital organs
  • Beta1 stimulation causes increased myocardial excitability, tachycardia, and increased myocardial contractility
  • Beta2 stimulation causes bronchodilation
