Q

Both ways we’d measure fitness. With advantages and disadvantages for both.

A

Lab Based data collection:

  • Advantages are higher validity, control variables & measure preciciously what you want to.
  • Disadvantages are low levels of ecological validity & expensive

Field Based data collection

  • Advantages are it mimics performance environment (ecological validity), cheaper & more accessible.
  • Disadvantages are Cannot control all variable & difficult to claim internal validity.
