  2. They did not have an army so there was no real way to force people to participate in their decisions.

Why did Germany hate the Treaty of Versailles?

A

It was very unfair to Germany, making them take all the blame, pay all the money, took away their military, and their territory. Basically, its policies were really harsh.

A

Italy was more of a supporting partner in the Triple Alliance. They also wanted land from Austria-Hungary. About a year into WWI, they sided with the Triple Entente and called war on Austria-Hungary.
