5 Main Components

A

Fuselage: The “body,” the long hollow tube for passengers and cargo.
Wings/Foils: these generate the lifting force for flight. They’re in the middle and the back.
Empennage: The tail at the end, this helps with stability using the rudder and elevator.
Power Plant: The engine and propeller.
Landing Gear: Shock absorbers and wheels.
