HOW IS THE MAIN CABIN DOOR CLOSED NORMALLY?

ELECTRICALLY

3

IS IT POSSIBLE TO OPEN THE MAIN CABIN DOOR FROM THE INSIDE IF SOME CABIN PRESSURE REMAINS?

NO.

4

WHY IS IT NOT POSSIBLE TO OPEN THE MAIN CABIN DOOR FROM THE INSIDE IF SOME CABIN PRESSURE REMAINS?

CABIN PRESSURE ENGAGES A PRESSURE LOCK LEVER CONNECTED TO THE VENT FLAP, AND PREVENTS MOVEMENT OF THE INNER DOOR HANDLE. AFTER CABIN PRESSURE IS RELEASED, SPRINGS ALLOW THE VENT FLAP TO OPEN, THE PRESSURE LOCK DISENGAGES AND THE DOOR HANDLES CAN OPERATE.

5

Under what conditions will you get a white (status) PASSENGER DOOR and or CARGO DOOR message?

The aircraft is on the ground, the passenger door and or cargo door(s) is open, and the LEFT engine run switch is in the OFF position.

** All other monitored doors will always be displayed as an AMBER CAS Caution message.

6

Under what conditions will you expect to see an amber caution PASSENGER DOOR CAS message?

1. Aircraft is on the ground, the door is open and the LEFT engine RUN switch is in the RUN position.

2. In flight, the passenger door rollers are not fully engaged into the fitting guides.

7

Under what conditions will you expect to see an amber CARGO DOOR caution CAS message?

Aircraft is on the ground, cargo door is open, and the LEFT engine RUN switch is in RUN.

2. EMERGENCY EXIT HATCH
3. AFT EQUIPMENT BAY
4. CARGO BAY
5. BATTERY BAY

10

Assume the left engine run switch is OFF. If all 5 monitored doors are open what indications would you see on CAS?

PASSENGER DOOR (WHITE STATUS)
CARGO DOOR (WHITE STATUS)
EMERGENCY EXIT (AMBER CAUTION)
BATTERY BAY DOOR (AMBER CAUTION)
AFT EQPT BAY DOOR (AMBER CAUTION)
**Only the passenger door and cargo doors will be either white or amber depending on LEFT engine RUN switch position.

11

With the nose gear torque link connected, what is the towing angle limit left or right of center?

120°

12

How will we know that the nose wheel has been rotated beyond 120 degrees?

Amber NWS LIMIT EXCEEDED caution CAS message.

13

What happens when the nose-wheel is rotated to 123 degrees left or right of center?

Indicator pins will shear and indicate the need to inspect the nose-wheel for possible damamge.

14

What is the minimum pavement width required for a 180 degree turn with a 5 foot margin.

58 feet.

1. Outflow valve door
2. Battery Bay Door
3. Aft Equipment Bay Door

25

In addition to the Outflow valve door, Battery Bay Door, and Aft Equipment Bay Door, why does Netjets require the Cargo door to be unlocked?

**Netjets requires you to have the Cargo door unlocked during flight and or aircraft movement. This allows for an additional egress door.

26
