Q

Explain the MCPRAWN airspaces

A

M - MOA (Military Operating Areas): No clearance required seperates military training activities from other traffic

C - CFA (Controlled Firing Areas): Noclearance required, spotter will cease fire

P - Prohibited (never allowed to fly here): white house, nuclear plants, do NOT FLY OVER

R - Restricted (need controlling agency authorization): hazardous to non participating a/c

A - Alert Areas (high volume of pilot training, No Clearance required) high density pilot training

W - Warning Areas (hazardous to non-participating a/c)

N - NSA (National Security Area; avoid these areas, may be prohibited at times), disseminated via NOTAMs
