military operations area. magenta hashmark. you can fly into it and dont need permission

diagonal gray hashmarks. they shoot missiles in this area.

blue hashmarked area. preceeded by a P. you CANNOT fly into a prohibited area at any time

blue hashmarks. preceeded by an R. you CAN fly into a restricted area if it is "cold" but not when it is "hot" (to find out call the controlling agency)

Special Use - Alert
magenta hashmarks. number designator preceeded by an A.

Special Use - Warning Area
blue hasmarks. preceeded by a W. warning you of a low controlled area (located offshore, radar aint so good)

Special Use - National Security TFR
under no circumstances can you fly through a TFR.
