A

• Profound confusion, tremor, agitation, hallucinations,
delusions, sleeplessness, autonomic over-activity • Mortality in DTs = 5% • Death: cardiovascular collapse, infection, hyperthermia,
seizures or self injury • Usually 48-72 hours after alcohol stopped
