1
Q

Properties?

A

Low density (float on water)
Soft (can cut with knife)

Q

Observations for metal chlorides

A

White solid/salt
Reaction is very vigourus (lot of bright light and heat produced)

Q

Observations of metal oxide?

A

Room temperature
Colour change from shiny grey to dull white
If heated they burn vigourusly forming a white smoke (the metal oxide)
