Red light will remain on key pad for 15 minutes. Door remains unlocked unless overridden by flight crew.

1. Check spy hole and monitor screen for unauthorised people outside of flight deck door 2. If there are passengers outside the door flight crew should call Galley 1 requesting they are moved 3. Turn the internal handle, pull door open, close immediately BUT QUIETLY

If the CDSS is broken what do we need to do?
1. interphone to flight deck verbally requesting access 2. if only 2 pilots, one person needs sit in flight deck to verify any request from pushback to TOC and from TOD until parking at gate 3. A crew member must remain in Galley 1 throughout the flight to monitor the flight deck door
