Weigh out accurate mass of solid in weighing boat, dissolve in 100cm3 of distilled water instead beaker and stir with glass rod
Rinse weighing boat into beaker with distilled water and glass rod
Pour solution into clean volumetric flask
Fill volumetric flask until water is just below graduation mark
Add distilled water with pipette slowly until bottom of meniscus reaches graduation mark
Stopper the flask and invert to mix thoroughly
