Q

Mr Birling

A

Stuck-up capitalist who continuously has wrong opinions - contrasting opinions on social and moral responsibility with Sheila and The inspector. Pompous- exaggerated self importance, continuous substantial opinion filled paragraphs, controls the conversation- believes people think his opinions are of value.
Dramaric irony, titanic- unsinkable absolutely unsinkable, repetition exaggerates confidence which only enhanced his foolishness. Refuses to accept responsibility. His to fire eva was merely a business decision and nothing more even after being told of its impacts.
Arrogant, frantically attempts to prove the inspector wrong even after he leaves.
