for his bloodthirsty nature- he cut the traitor mcdonlald from the nave to the chops- ironic that this violence eventually leads to his downfall

how does the captain and Duncan describe mcbeth in scene 2 and how does it link to appearance vs reality.

A

-brave, valiant. at this point he’s a hero who’s loyal to his king and country
- the witches have just told the audience that ‘‘fair is foul’’ - suggests that worthy mcbeth might not be as good as the other characters believe.
