Describe the structure of the nasal cavity?
It is formed of 3 meatus and 3 concha
What’s the function of the concha?
A bony element that increases the surface area for rapid warming and humidification of as it passes to the lungs
What is the choana?
The opening between the nasal cavity and the nasopharynx
What are the 4 paranasal sinuses?
Frontal, ethmoid all, maxi,,airy and sphenoidal
Where are the palatine tonsils?
Either side of the back of the throat
Where are the pharyngeal tonsils?
The most superior tonsils behind the nasal cavity at the roof of the nasopharynx
Which principle bronchi is longer and runs more horizontally

What is the sternal angle?
The anterior angle formed by the junction of the sternum and ribs- between sternal body and manubrium
What is the suprasternal notch?
The V-shaped notch at the top of the sternum
