Yellow in appearance and it greatly affects the color of the tooth

Is a specialized calcifies substance covering the root of the tooth

Inner portion of the tooth
Consists of living blood vessels, connective tissue and large nerves
Pulp
Is the majority of the tooth and visible
Crown
Foundation of the tooth. It is hidden below the gum line

A persons eager front teeth with four on top and four on the bottom
Their main function is to bite food
Incisors
The sharp teeth located outside the incisors it’s function is to help tear their food
Canines
Are called bicuspids, can chew and tear food. They are somewhat flat with ridges on top, and there are four on each side
Premolars
Also chew and grind food, yet they are stronger than pre molars and they work with the tongue to help swallow food
