2.5fm deep, sticky mud bottom. Anchoring in shoal water is not recommended due to floating debris and vegetation clogging intakes.

A

Echo bay near the head of the bay small vsls with local knowledge can find good anchorage in 4-5fm sand and mud bottom. Fossil bay- state park and recreation area for small craft anchorage and float pier in 1fathom
