How are peat bogs formed?
A
They are formed when there is a hollow ground. Water fills this hollow and plants begin to grow over the surface. The pest begins to fill up until it’s full

A
A wetland that accumulates peat, it has a deposit of dead plant material and is wet muddy ground
Consist of two layers
A thin watery too layer
A thick layer of pest underneath
They preserve remains of a body after death
Bog bodies show a great variation in preservation
range from 8000 BCE to the early medieval period
