Q

How does the posterior lower part of the rectus sheath differ to the upper
?

A

Follows a different structure-the lowest block of the rectus abdominis is not covered in rectus sheath only TRANSVERSALIS FASCIA becuase at this poin klnown as the ARCUATE LINE all the aponeurosis of the flank muscle pass anterior to the rectus abdominis, so the posterior rectus sheath consist only of transversalis fascia
