GAD ICD- 10 Diagnosis

A
  1. Period of at least 6 months with symptoms
  2. At least 4 symptoms
  3. does not meet the criteria for panic disorder, phobia, anxiety disorders, OCD or hypochondriacal disorder
  4. Must not be sustained by a physical disorder, an organic mental disorder or psychoactive substance related disorder

  • Biological - antidepressants and antianxiolytics
  • Psychological - CBT
