Alpha blocker - MOA

A

Binds + inhibits the alpha 1 adrenoreceptors in smooth muscle (blood vessels/ urinary tract - bladder neck + prostrate)

Leads to muscle relaxation/ vasodilation/ fall in BP/ reduced resistance to bladder overflow
