Short term causes of WW1

A

Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, heir of throne to Austria-Hungary. Serbia nationalists wanted Serbia to be a country for Slavic people. Lots of slabs in Bosnia, which was owned by Austria-Hungary. Serbia terrorists thought killing archduke would lead to them giving Serbia Bosnia.
