A

A

Released from training programme - with or without specified competencies

What is an Outcome 5?

A

Incomplete evidence presented - additional training time may be required.

If you receive an outcome 5, you will be asked to provide additional information within a specific, short-term timeframe. After presentation of the extra evidence, the ARCP panel will update your ARCP outcome to either an outcome 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8 depending on the additional evidence you have provided.

A

Gained all required competencies - will be recommended as having completed the training programme (core or specialty) and if in a run-through training programme or higher training programme, will be recommended for award of CCT or CESR(CP)/CEGPR(CP)

A

Out of programme for clinical experience, research or a career break (OOPE/OOPR/OOPC)

What is Outcome 10?

A

Achieving progress at the expected rate but acquisition of some capabilities delayed by the impact of a national emergency

10.1 Progress is satisfactory but the acquisition of capabilities by the postgraduate doctor in training has been delayed by national emergency/ force majeure disruption. The individual training is not at a critical progression point in their programme and can progress to the next stage of their training. Any subsequent additional training time will be reviewed at the next ARCP.

10.2 Progress is satisfactory but the acquisition of capabilities by the postgraduate doctor in training has been delayed by national emergency/ force majeure disruption. The individual is at a critical progression point in their programme and additional training time is required in accordance with paragraph 4.89 of Gold Guide
