Q

What is the most likely cause of an extra P wave that has been inserted into an otherwise normal EKG (aka frequent atrial premature beats - APBs)?

A

• enhanced normal automaticity because its not happening at a normal rate, but it is still causing a P wave telling you that a SA cell is responsible
