What’s meant by non-require cc?
Crew that are not required but are there to meet company service standards. They are carried in addition to minimum cc.
How many sectors is your FAM flight?
Familiarisation flights are cc first 2 sectors
What’s positioning Cabin Crew?
Cabin crew who are not working and are passengers on a flight. This could be they are needed down route for a flight home or step in last minute for the flight they are positioning on.
What’s the precautions you need to follow when operating for a positioning flight?
The same as if you were operating. No alcohol within 8 hours of flying, well rested, fit for duty and have full uniform with them
What are the key things to remember on your FAM flight?
-You can’t occupy a crew seat in the flight deck
-Must inform FSM in the pre flight briefing
What must your OBM complete after your FAM flight?
A Familiarisation Flight Form- this must be completed at the end of the inbound sector otherwise it can lead to you being grounded.

What aircraft can you not have reduced crew on?
A350
What are the requirements for cc?
-must be 18 years old
-passed a medical
-passed recruitment process
-have completed all UK CAA and company training
-Hold a valid Attestation
-Be qualified on the aircraft type and variant
-Wear companies uniform correctly
-Able to sit in crew seats without an extension seat belt
-Be able to adopt the brace position
-Be able to stand in all assist spaces without reducing width of escape route
-Be able to reach, retrieve and restow all safety equipment
What is meant by “in check”
That you are legally able to fly- meaning you have operated Boeing and airbus within 90 days (if flying under a year) or 180 days of flying over a year
What happens if you aren’t “in check”
You can be grounded and will have to do a refresher course on the aircraft
What’s the minimum crew for each aircraft variant?
A350-9
A330-8
B787- 8
What items must you carry with you every flight?
-Passport and airport ID
-Torch and spare batteries
-wristwatch with second hand
-Hi-vis
-resuscitation mask
-cabin shoes
-Company IPad with at least 80% charge
What are the different type of fatigue
Transient Fatigue- Jet lag, sleep deprivation
Comulative Fatigue- a build up of fatigue
Where and how should you report Fatigue if you experience it?
On your crew iPad via you cabin crew alert report form on the interlex app.
