What are some of the offences that are examples of sexual assaut?

A

Sexual violation by rape or unlawful sexual connection.
Indecent assault
Any form of unwanted or coercive touching or action of a sexual nature in circumstances of indeceny
any sexual abuse.
Incest

What are some examples of appropriate sexual assault support.

A

A specially trained group or agency, including Iwi and Maori groups, providing specialist sexual assault support or counselling services for sexual assault victims in the community
A trained sexual assault counsellor who supports victims and is able to respond appropriately to sexual abuse disclosures.
As well as any family, friends, whanau, iwi, hapu or Maori group member.

A

TO maximise the psychological and emotional well-being of the victim. To this end, they may also be an independent advocate for the victim.

A

Any further investigative work that can be undertaken that could link this offence to unsolved cases?
Addressing liquor outlets around drink spiking or street lighting.
Any opportunities for interventions to pevent sexual re-victimisation.
Educational opporutnities or messages can be gained or promoted.
Case levels for improvement or enhancement.
