Q

What is the relationship between ATP and ADP

A

when the third phosphate groups from ATP is removed it becomes ADP, when a phosphate group is added to ADP it becomes ATP

Q

Why does this order make sense?

A

Carbs are easy to convert
Lipids are stored and have the ability to produce a lot of ATP but it isn’t easily done.
The body wants to burn Proteins last because they are what build and actually do things in your body.
