Q

Increases heart rate, decreases GI motility, urinary retention, pupillary dilation and decreased sweat/tear production.

Indications: Symptomatic bradycardia, improve conduction in 2nd and 3rd degree AV blocks or pacemaker failure, organophosphate poisoning.

Adult Dosage: .5 mg IV/IO bolus. Maximum dose 3 mg.

Pediatric Dosage: .02 mcg/kg IV/IO bolus. Minimum dose is .1 mg. Maximum single dose is .5 mg.
