A

When all 3 aspects of the triadic model are in harmony

Describe cognitive dissonance in terms of changing an attitude

A

Dissoncance is an emotional conflict, occurs when 1 component of the triadic model is in conflict with the others
So consonance needs to be achieved to change the attitude

Describe Persuasive Communication in terms of changing an attitude

A

Perusader - Message - Situation - Recipients

Persuader : Needs to be a significant other (Coach)
Message : Presented in a way that makes the recipient want to change (swimming allows windsurfing)
Situation : Much easier if other perusaders are present
Recipient : Much easier if the recipient is willing to change their attitude (understands the benefits)
