What would a report communicating deficiencies in IC include?

What should be included in the Deficiency Appendix table?
Deficiency: statement of fact
Consequences:
1. Risk of non-compliance
2. Cost to the business (losses, adverse impact on cash flow, loss of customer goodwill)

Unmodified opinions with material uncertainty relating to GC paragraph.

When to use: If all are met:
1. FS follow AC standards, no misstatements.
2. Significant GC issues.

What is the definition of Material and Pervasive? (3)

What and why are Key Audit Matters (KAM) used?
Used for listed companies.
They include the most significant assessed risks of MM identified by auditor.

What should the auditor do in respect of work carried out for KAMs?
- provide description of each KAM: why it’s considered to be significant, how it was addressed in audit.
- Include summary of auditor responses
- Explain how scope of auditor work addressed each KAM, influenced by applying materiality.

In the event that an external auditor of an component does not allow access to audit evidence / information with the directors of the audited firm stating they will not grant access to accounting records of subsidiary. What are the implications on the group audit report?
Management have imposed a limitation on scope of audit and disclose information of its activities.
